lysol and prayer requests

i know it has been a while... a week or maybe a few days not sure... time is really going by fast here. Life is so fast here and at the end of the day i have accomplished so little.
So luke threw up 13 times last night and sat on the toilet 3 times. He is much better today so I am hoping for a quick recovery. I have began to wash clothes, sheets and the house now smells like lysol.
I did have a lot planned for today but not any more. Just relaxing before soccer practice tonight. The game is in 2 days and I still need to get my game on. lol
It has been a month since Joyce, spencers mom send a care package. Gosh sure hope it gets here soon since it has our new debit cards in it. Our other ones expired last week. Don't worry we got out enough money to help survive for a while.

Okay so i haven't given you and prayer requests in a while so here we go...
1. I will be teaching a seminar next weekend. Pray it goes well and we travel well to the city. We will be going through mountains so we will be bring the motion meds along :)
2. still waiting on getting the computers and satellites for our district learning centers out of costumes... any day now
3. spencer will be traveling to Kenya, Burunidi, DRC and 3 districts in Rwanda soon for their district assemblies. 16 days.... which is not bad since it was 24 days and some of the time he will be here in Rwanda which means we will see him some.
4. we need some work done on our car... hopefully it will not cost a fortune. thought our car sold in Senegal but the guy is trying to negotiate more. boohoo
5. we still need to hire a night guard...had to let the other one go.
6. praying that we have a team come to work on our compound. we have several roof leaks and other projects that need to be done. having a team will help finance the needs on the property!!

okay better go... love all yall and remember... always untuck your mosquito net when you have a child throwing up...

Not a Blogger

Okay, clearly I don't blog. I will keep trying though! We are now in Kigali, Rwanda. We had a great month and a half being with family and friends in the states this summer. We arrived here July 9th and are almost settled. I know that sounds like long enough, right? Anyway, we instantly appreciated the climate here as opposed to the oven that Senegal was, but we miss many of our friends and our church there. The kids have begun school in an English school and are really enjoying it. April will be playing soccer next Saturday in the big stadium here. She is on a team of ex-pat women and they will be playing against the Rwandan women of parliament. It sounds kind of crazy to us too... We are still learning our new assignments and there is much to be done. We are keeping at it. I (Spencer) will be away from home for 24 days - way too long for me - going to an education meeting in Nairobi, and the district assemblies in Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi. Keep us all in your prayers. I still haven't taken the time to figure out how to get the subscribe button, so if anyone has any simple advice for that, email me!! Blessings.
